A little bit of technologyโฆ and a LOT of celebrating! ๐
CoNet began its journey in the Netherlands in 1996, followed by the UK in 2001.ย Specialists in Siemens factory Automation.
Incidently, today it is also CoNet‘s UK 5th Birthday!
So, what better way to celebrate three decades in business than by bringing our teams together?
The weekend started at our UK home on Sci-Tech Daresbury campus, where our colleagues got to see where the UK team works and learn more about the incredible science, technology and innovation happening around us on campus.
A big thank you to Paul Treloar from Sci-Tech Daresbury for welcoming the team and sharing the incredibale history of the Campus, from its scientific beginnings in the 1960s through to the thriving tech community it is today. Paul spent the day presenting and hosting our team with a tour of the Campus. Thank you so much Paul!
We enjoyed a fascinating tour of the VEC (Virtual Engineering Centre) at the Hartree Centre run by the University of Liverpool, where we got a glimpse of some exciting research and development. There was certainly plenty of common ground, and hopefully the start of some great future collaboration.
And thenโฆ it was time for Chester! ๐ฐ๐ฅ
Walking tours โ๏ธ We got to learn the history of what the Romans left behind in Chester some 2000 yrs ago.
Shopping โ๏ธ
River cruise โ๏ธ
Great food โ๏ธ
A few drinks โ๏ธ
Lots of laughs โ๏ธ
Some questionable dance moves โ๏ธ๐
And to top it all off, a brilliant ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ค๐ฌ activity organised by THE OLD PALACE (CHESTER) LIMITED .ย Massive thanks, it was thoroughly enjoyable with some very funny hand made masterpeices ๐
Thirty years in business is a fantastic milestone, but weekends like this remind us that CoNet‘s success has always been about its people.
Thank you to everyone who made the weekend so memorable.ย We had such a good time enjoying the moment we didn’t get chance to think about a team photo!
Here’s to 30 years of CoNet and many more adventures to come! ๐ฅ
