As a System Integrator, you like your project involvement to start in an as early as possible stage. So, when DuPont asked us to participate in the drafting stage of the functional design of their waste water treatment control systems, we were eager to join in.
In the next phase of this project, CoNet was used to actually develop and test the newly developed process control systems.
During the implementation of the new control system, CoNet made use of both CFC and SFC. The factory acceptance testing (FAT) was performed at the skid builder facilities, at which the actual to be used equipment was tested. This approach would minimise errors during project commissioning. CoNet’s extensive knowledge of Profibus DP and PA & PCS7 once again proofed to be benificial for DuPont and this project.
