This time they expressed the wish to better manage recipe data, including the related parameters and the impact on production. And of course, CoNet Zaandam stepped up to the plate!
In technical terms this was a project where we applied Simatic WinCC add-ons: PM-Control and PM-Quality. Conveyor belt weighing points were integrated in production control by means of WinCC flexible touch panels. A link to the SAP R/3 system was also established.
The principal was extremely satisfied with the improved parameter control, increased FDA functionality and further possibilities to improve productivity and optimize product quality.
